Details

The Keystone XHD/K-90 WOL 1050mm is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on robust structural openings. Engineered to support cavity widths from 90 to 105mm, it’s an ideal choice when installing wide outer leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm thick. Please note, lintels are supplied in manufactured lengths with 150mm increments, and images are for illustration only.

Application

This lintel is tailored for use in cavity wall construction where wide outer leaf blockwork requires strong, reliable support over openings such as doors and windows. It is commonly used on serious building projects where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is essential. To ensure optimal performance, builders should place a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units, distributing the load evenly. Temporary propping of the lintel is recommended to accelerate construction progress.
