Details

The Keystone XHD/K-90 WIL 900mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on cavity walls with wide inner leaves. It’s designed to reliably support structural openings where the cavity width ranges from 90 to 105mm, delivering the strength and stability needed for serious building projects. Please note, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction with inner leaf widths between 125 and 150mm. It is commonly specified for load-bearing openings such as doors and windows where extra heavy duty support is essential. The lintel’s design allows blockwork to be built snugly against its inner face, and a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Temporary propping during installation can be used to speed up the build process without compromising safety.
