Details

The Keystone XHD/K-90 WIL 600mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on substantial openings requiring robust support. Specifically designed for cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, this lintel is well suited to 125-150mm wide inner leaf blockwork, providing dependable load-bearing capacity on site. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments, and blockwork must be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where heavy structural loads are present, such as lintels over doorways, windows, and other openings in masonry walls with wide inner leaf blocks. It supports floor units effectively when a mortar bed is placed on top of the blockwork before installation, ensuring even load distribution. Propping lintels during construction is recommended to maintain build speed and stability.
