The Keystone XHD/K-90 1950mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy-duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on demanding structural openings. It is specifically designed to support cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, making it a dependable choice for robust cavity wall construction. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments and blockwork must be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting lintelled openings in cavity walls that require extra heavy-duty load capacity, such as large window or door openings in residential or commercial projects. It is commonly used where structural integrity and load distribution are critical, including load-bearing walls with cavity widths of 90 to 105mm. For best results, place a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute weight across the lintel. Temporary propping during installation is recommended to maintain construction speed and safety.
