Details

The Keystone XHD/K-90 1350mm is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on demanding structural projects. Designed specifically for cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, this lintel reliably supports wide openings where strength and durability are critical. Please note the lintel is supplied in fixed 150mm length increments, suitable for precise on-site adjustments.

Application

This lintel is typically used in cavity wall construction to span openings such as doors and windows, providing robust support for heavy loads above. It is ideal for projects requiring enhanced load-bearing capacity, including commercial and larger residential builds. For optimal performance, blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed applied on top before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Propping is recommended during installation to speed up construction safely.
