Details

The Keystone XHD/K-70 WOL 1950mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to provide dependable structural support for openings in wide outer leaf cavity walls. Suitable for builders, contractors and site managers working with blockwork cavities of 70-85mm, this lintel ensures strength and stability on demanding projects. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments to match site specifications.

Application

This lintel is typically used to span openings in cavity walls where the outer leaf blockwork measures between 125-150mm thickness. It supports load-bearing walls by transferring weight evenly across the cavity, with blockwork built tight against its inner face. Ideal for heavy-duty projects requiring robust lintel performance, it also allows for mortar bedding above the blockwork before floor units are installed to ensure even load distribution. Propping during installation is recommended to maintain construction speed and safety.
