The Keystone XHD/K-70 WOL 1800mm is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to support wide outer leaf openings where cavity widths range between 70 and 85mm. It is an ideal choice for builders and site managers requiring a robust and reliable lintel for demanding structural projects involving 125-150mm outer leaf blockwork. Please note that all dimensions are manufactured in 150mm increments and technical assistance is available through our sales office.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with wide outer leaves, providing strong support for openings such as windows and doorways in residential and commercial builds. It accommodates blockwork built tight against the inner face of the lintel and requires a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. The lintel can be propped during installation to speed up construction without compromising safety.
