Details

The Keystone XHD/K-70 WOL 1050mm lintel is engineered for trade professionals needing a robust, extra heavy duty solution to support cavity wall openings. Ideal for builders, site managers, and contractors working with wide outer leaf blockwork, this lintel offers dependable load-bearing performance tailored for structural projects. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments and blockwork should be built tight against the lintel's inner face.

Application

This cavity wall lintel is specifically designed to bridge openings in cavity walls with a 70-85mm cavity width, supporting outer leaf blockwork between 125mm and 150mm thick. It is well suited for use above windows, doors, and other structural openings where extra heavy duty load capacity is required. To ensure even load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are installed. Lintels can be temporarily propped to speed up construction without compromising safety.
