Details

The Keystone XHD/K-70 750mm lintel is engineered for builders and contractors requiring a dependable, extra heavy duty solution for cavity wall openings. Its robust design supports cavity widths from 70 to 85mm, making it ideal for substantial brick or block structures where reliability is critical. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments to accommodate various project specifications.

Application

This lintel is perfectly suited for use in cavity wall construction, providing strong support over window and door openings where heavy loads are expected. The blockwork should be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel to ensure optimal load distribution. Applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps to evenly spread the load across the lintel. For faster construction, temporary propping of the lintel may be used.
