Details

The Keystone XHD/K-70 Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 2550mm length is engineered for builders and contractors requiring dependable support over cavity wall openings between 70 and 85mm wide. Its robust design makes it a smart choice for those working on structurally demanding projects where reliability is essential. Please note, lintels are manufactured in standard increments of 150mm to suit site requirements.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is needed, such as lintels spanning over large window or door openings. It supports blockwork firmly against the inner face of the lintel, ensuring a solid bearing surface. A mortar bed is recommended on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly. To facilitate faster construction times, lintels can be temporarily propped until the structure gains full strength.
