Details

The Keystone XHD/K-70 2100mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders, contractors, and site managers working on demanding structural openings. It reliably supports cavity walls with widths of 70-85mm, ensuring robust load distribution above doors, windows, and other openings. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments and blockwork should be built tightly against the lintel’s inner face for optimal performance.

Application

Ideal for use in cavity wall construction where heavy loads must be supported, this lintel is commonly applied above wide openings such as large windows and doorways on residential or commercial projects. It requires a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load transfer. Propping can be used to speed up construction without compromising structural integrity.
