Details

The Keystone XHD/K-70 1950mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall support designed specifically for builders and contractors working on substantial openings within 70-85mm cavity walls. Its robust construction ensures reliable load-bearing performance, making it a dependable choice for serious projects where structural integrity is critical. Please note that lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments and blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use above window and door openings in cavity walls where heavy loads must be supported safely. It is commonly applied in new builds and extensions where cavity widths range between 70mm and 85mm. To maximise load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units. Temporary propping of the lintel during construction is recommended to maintain speed and safety on site.
