The Keystone XHD/K-70 1650mm cavity wall lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty product designed for builders, contractors, and site managers working with cavity walls between 70 and 85mm wide. It provides robust support for structural openings, ensuring stability where it matters most. Please note, lengths are available in 150mm increments and technical advice is available from our sales team.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited to cavity wall construction requiring extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity. It supports lintel openings such as windows and doorways in brick or block cavity walls reliably. For best results, blockwork should be built tightly against the lintel’s inner face, and a mortar bed applied atop the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure load is evenly spread. Propping lintels during installation is recommended to maintain construction speed and safety.
