Details

The Keystone XHD/K-50 WOL 2100mm lintel is engineered for tradespeople and site managers working on cavity walls with wide outer leaves. This extra heavy duty lintel offers reliable support for openings where cavity widths range from 50 to 65mm, making it a dependable choice for substantial blockwork projects. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments to suit site needs.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with 125-150mm thick outer leaf blockwork. It provides robust support over openings such as windows and doors, ensuring load is safely transferred around these structures. The design allows blockwork to be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, improving stability. To achieve even load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed atop the blockwork before installing floor units. Temporary propping of the lintel is recommended to speed up construction without compromising safety.
