Application

Specifically designed for cavity walls with a wider outer leaf, this lintel supports openings such as doorways and windows where extra heavy duty load capacity is essential. It is commonly used in brick and block construction, ensuring the masonry above is evenly supported. Blockwork should be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to ensure even load distribution. Propping the lintel during construction can speed up the build process while maintaining safety.
