Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments and blockwork must be built tight against the inner face of the lintel for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity walls where an extra heavy duty load-bearing solution is needed, particularly with inner leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm wide. It supports doorways, window openings, and other structural gaps by evenly distributing the weight above. Builders often place a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure load is spread evenly.
