Details

The Keystone XHD/K-50 600mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to provide robust support for openings in walls with cavity widths from 50mm to 65mm. Perfect for builders, contractors and site managers who need dependable structural elements to maintain integrity on serious projects. Please note that lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments and blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting brickwork or blockwork above window and door openings where a strong load-bearing solution is essential. It is commonly used in cavity walls that require extra heavy duty lintels to accommodate significant structural loads, including residential and commercial developments. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Temporary propping during installation can speed up construction without compromising safety.
