Details

The Keystone XHD/K-50 1500mm lintel is engineered for contractors and site managers requiring reliable, heavy-duty support across cavity wall openings. Its robust design handles extra heavy loads and fits cavity widths of 50-65mm, making it a dependable choice for serious building projects. Please note, lintels are supplied in manufactured length increments and installation details should be confirmed with our sales team.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting large or heavily loaded openings in cavity wall construction, including doorways and window apertures. It is designed to carry extra heavy loads where blockwork is built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, ensuring even load distribution. For best results, a mortar bed should be placed over the blockwork before laying floor units. Temporary propping may be used to speed up the construction process without compromising safety.
