Details

The Keystone XHD/K-50 1350mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to support substantial loads over openings with cavity widths between 50 and 65mm. It’s an excellent choice for builders and site managers who require dependable structural support on complex building projects. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments to suit your exact specifications.

Application

This lintel is primarily used in cavity wall construction to bridge openings such as doors and windows where high load-bearing capacity is essential. It should be installed with blockwork tightly built against the inner face, and a mortar bed placed atop the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Temporary propping during installation is recommended to maintain structural integrity while construction progresses.
