Details

The Keystone XHD/K-50 1200mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors who require reliable structural support for substantial openings. Suitable for cavity widths between 50 and 65mm, this lintel ensures durability and stability on demanding projects. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments to match site specifications.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting load-bearing cavity walls where heavy loads must be safely transferred across openings such as doors and windows. The product is particularly suited to cavity walls with a 50-65mm gap, where blockwork is constructed tight against the lintel’s inner face. A mortar bed is recommended on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. For efficient build times, lintels can be temporarily propped during installation.
