Details

The Keystone XHD/K-50 is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel measuring 1050mm in length, engineered to support openings where cavity widths range between 50 and 65mm. It is an excellent choice for builders and site managers requiring a robust and reliable solution for heavy structural loads in cavity wall construction. Please note that the lintel is manufactured in 150mm increments to fit different opening sizes.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity wall structures, providing strong support for openings such as doors and windows where heavy loads are present. It allows blockwork to be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, ensuring effective load transfer. Mortar beds should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to guarantee even distribution of weight. For faster build times, lintels can be temporarily propped during installation without compromising stability.
