Details

The Keystone XHD/K-150 900mm lintel is designed for builders and contractors requiring extra heavy duty support in cavity walls with widths of 150 to 165mm. This high-performance lintel ensures dependable load distribution, making it a smart choice for structural openings in serious building projects. Please note, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel for optimal performance.

Application

Specifically suited for cavity wall construction, this lintel supports lintel openings where substantial load-bearing capacity is essential. It is commonly used in residential and commercial builds where cavity widths fall within the 150-165mm range. For best results, place a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load. Propping the lintel during construction can speed up installation while maintaining structural integrity.
