Supports openings requiring strong structural integrity on wide outer leaf cavity walls.
Ensure outer leaf blockwork does not overhang lintel flange by more than 25mm for proper installation.
Recommended to prop lintels during installation to speed up construction and ensure load distribution.

Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL 600mm lintel is engineered as an extra heavy duty solution for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. It is specifically designed for builders, site managers, and contractors who require reliable structural support for openings in cavity walls with 90-105mm cavity widths. This lintel is ideal for use with outer leaf blockwork measuring 125-150mm wide. Please note, outer leaf blocks should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain correct load bearing.

Application

This lintel is used to span openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls where extra heavy duty support is essential. It is suitable for wide outer leaf blockwork construction, providing robust support for serious projects. For best results, props should be used during installation to speed up construction and ensure the lintel carries the load effectively. Blockwork should be built tight against the outer face of the lintel, and a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute load evenly.
