Outer leaf block must not overhang lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure correct fit and load distribution.

Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL 3450mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on wide outer leaf walls. Engineered to support openings where the cavity width ranges from 90 to 105mm, this lintel provides reliable and robust structural support for demanding projects. Please note, outer leaf blocks are not included and should be installed with care to avoid overhang.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where the outer leaf blockwork measures between 125 and 150mm thick. It supports heavy loads over doorways, windows, and other openings, ensuring the structural stability of the wall. To facilitate a safe and efficient build, it is recommended to prop the lintel during installation. Blockwork should be built tight against the outer face of the lintel, with a mortar bed applied on top before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads and prevent settlement.
