Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, purpose-built for supporting openings in cavity walls with wider outer leaf blockwork. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on demanding structural projects, this lintel offers dependable load-bearing capacity and durability. Please note, the outer leaf block should not extend more than 25mm beyond the lintel flange to ensure correct installation and performance.

Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity walls with a cavity width between 90-105mm and outer leaf blockwork measuring 125-150mm wide. It is particularly suited for window and door openings where extra heavy duty support is required, such as in commercial or high-load residential builds. To maintain structural integrity and facilitate construction efficiency, it is advised to prop the lintel during installation. Additionally, blockwork should be built tightly against the lintel’s outer face, with a mortar bed laid on top before floor units are placed to ensure even load distribution.
