The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, measuring 3150mm in length, purpose-built for supporting wide outer leaf blockwork in cavity walls. It is ideal for builders and contractors working on sizeable structural openings where robust load-bearing capacity is essential. Please note that outer leaf blocks should not exceed a 25mm overhang on the lintel flange to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with cavity widths between 90 and 105mm and outer leaf blockwork ranging from 125 to 150mm wide. It is typically used to support heavy loads above large window and door openings in both residential and commercial builds. To ensure safe and efficient installation, it is recommended that the lintel is propped temporarily during construction. Mortar bedding should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
