The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel measuring 2850mm in length, specifically designed for builders and contractors working with cavity widths of 90-105mm. It supports outer leaf blockwork between 125mm and 150mm wide, providing reliable structural integrity for openings in walls. Please note, outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper load distribution.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting heavy loads over openings such as doors and windows in cavity walls with a wide outer leaf. It is commonly used on both residential and commercial sites where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is essential. To ensure a secure installation and maintain build speed, propping the lintel during construction is advised. The blockwork should be built tightly against the outer face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
