The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 2250mm length is engineered for robust support in cavity walls featuring wide outer leaves. Tailored for builders and contractors handling demanding structural openings, it offers dependable load-bearing performance to keep projects on track. Please note, outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper fit and function.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a cavity width ranging from 90 to 105mm and an outer leaf thickness of 125 to 150mm blockwork. It is ideal for supporting wide openings such as window and door frames in heavy-duty construction projects. To ensure stability and speed up construction, it is recommended that lintels are properly propped during installation. Blockwork should be built tightly against the outer face of the lintel, and a mortar bed applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute structural loads.
