The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, purpose-built for builders, contractors, and site managers requiring dependable structural support for wide outer leaf blockwork. With a length of 1350mm, it suits cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, providing a robust solution for openings such as windows and doors in substantial masonry walls. Please note, blockwork outer leaf must not exceed a 25mm overhang on the lintel flange to ensure stability.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting openings in cavity walls where the outer leaf blockwork ranges from 125 to 150mm thick. Its extra heavy duty rating means it can handle significant loads, making it suitable for serious structural projects including residential and commercial builds. For efficient and safe installation, it is advised to prop the lintel during construction. The blockwork should be built tightly against the outer face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads and maintain structural integrity.
