Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WOL 1050mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on structural openings with wide outer leaf blockwork. Ideal for cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, this lintel provides dependable support for serious building projects requiring robust load-bearing solutions. Please note that the outer leaf blockwork must not extend beyond the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is primarily used in cavity wall construction where outer leaf blocks range from 125 to 150mm thick. It supports openings such as window and door frames, ensuring the load above is safely transferred to the surrounding structure. Propping the lintel during installation is advised to speed up construction and maintain site safety. To achieve optimal load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units.
