Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WIL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, engineered specifically for builders and contractors working on substantial cavity wall projects. At 2400mm in length, it supports wide inner leaf blockwork and ensures strong load-bearing performance where reliability is critical. Please note, installation guidance recommends lintels be propped during construction to maintain safety and efficiency.

Application

This lintel is designed for cavity wall openings with cavity widths between 90 and 105mm, accommodating inner leaf blockwork measuring 125 to 150mm wide. It provides dependable support for structural openings such as window and door frames in heavy-duty builds. To maintain stability, the inner leaf block should not extend more than 25mm beyond the lintel flange, and blockwork must be built tight against the lintel's inner face. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
