The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WIL lintel is an extra heavy duty steel lintel designed specifically for cavity walls with a wide inner leaf. It supports openings where the cavity width ranges from 90 to 105mm, making it a dependable choice for builders and contractors working with medium-thick blockwork. Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall constructions where an inner leaf blockwork is 125-150mm wide. It provides strong structural support over openings such as doors and windows, ensuring stability under heavy loads. Tradespeople should ensure the blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain proper load distribution. For best results and to facilitate faster build times, propping the lintel during installation is recommended. Additionally, a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
