The Keystone XCFS/K-90 WIL 1350mm lintel is an extra heavy duty solution engineered for cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. Ideal for builders and contractors requiring dependable structural support for large openings, this lintel ensures stability and durability in demanding builds. Please note, the inner leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and lintels should be propped during installation for best results.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to carry heavy loads over openings in cavity walls where the cavity width ranges between 90 and 105mm, and the inner leaf blockwork measures 125-150mm wide. It is commonly used in structural openings such as window and door frames on residential and commercial projects where extra strength is essential. To ensure even load distribution, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid. The blockwork must be built tight against the inner face of the lintel for optimal performance.
