Application

This lintel is specifically designed to carry extra heavy loads over cavity wall openings such as doors, windows, or service ducts in residential and commercial builds. It is suitable for use in both new builds and refurbishment projects where cavity widths fall within the specified range. To optimise the distribution of load, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units. Propping the lintel during installation is strongly recommended to maintain safety and speed up construction.
