The Keystone XCFS/K-90 is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on demanding structural projects. It provides strong, dependable support for openings in cavity walls with widths between 90 and 105mm. Please note, all perpendicular and horizontal joints should be fully filled with mortar to ensure optimal performance, and lintels must be propped during installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use above doorways, windows, and other openings in cavity walls where extra heavy duty load-bearing is required. It is particularly suited to new build and refurbishment projects involving cavity walls with 90-105mm cavities. To ensure even load distribution, a mortar bed should be laid on top of the blockwork before placing floor units. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to maintain safety and accelerate build times.
