Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-90 is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, engineered to support openings where cavity widths range from 90 to 105mm. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers tackling serious structural projects, this lintel provides reliable load-bearing strength. Please note, the product requires proper mortaring and propping during installation for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity wall construction where robust support is necessary over openings such as windows and doors. It ensures even load distribution across blockwork, preventing structural stress. Best practice includes placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units and fully filling all joints with mortar. Propping lintels is advised to maintain safety and speed up build times.
