Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-70 WOL 900mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty support in cavity wall construction. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with wide outer leaf blockwork, it reliably supports openings where cavity widths range from 70 to 85mm. Please note that the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper load distribution.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a wide outer leaf, typically 125 to 150mm thick. It’s perfect for heavy structural openings such as large window and door frames where additional load-bearing capacity is essential. To maintain construction speed and structural integrity, it’s recommended to prop the lintels temporarily during installation. The blockwork must be built tightly against the lintel’s outer face, and a mortar bed should be applied on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to evenly distribute loads.
