Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-70 WOL 750mm lintel is engineered for builders and contractors working on cavity wall openings requiring extra heavy duty support. Specifically designed for cavity widths of 70-85mm and outer leaf blockwork between 125-150mm, it offers the strength and reliability needed for demanding structural applications. Please note, all lintels are supplied individually and technical guidance is available from our sales office.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting wide outer leaf cavity walls where heavy loads are anticipated, such as above large window or door openings. It ensures structural integrity in masonry construction by evenly distributing weight across the lintel flange and cavity. Propping during installation is recommended to maintain construction speed and safety. Builders should ensure blockwork is built tight against the outer face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top before floor units are laid to guarantee even load distribution.
