Details

The Keystone XCFS/K-70 WOL lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for contractors and site managers working with wide outer leaf blockwork. At 1800mm length, it provides robust structural support for openings in cavity walls with widths between 70 and 85mm, making it a dependable choice for load-bearing applications on serious building projects. Please note that outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure best performance.

Application

Specifically designed for cavity walls with a wide outer leaf, this lintel supports openings such as windows and doors where additional load capacity is required. It is ideal for use with 125-150mm thick outer leaf blockwork and is suited to builders and tradespeople looking for a reliable, structural solution. To maintain safe and efficient construction, propping the lintel during installation is recommended. Mortar should be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads.
