The Keystone XCFS/K-70 WOL 1050mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty load-bearing in cavity walls with wide outer leaf blockwork. Specifically designed for builders, contractors and site managers handling serious structural openings, this lintel offers reliable support where strength and precision matter. Please note, the outer leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper fit and performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls featuring a 70-85mm cavity and outer leaf blockwork between 125-150mm wide. It effectively supports lintelled openings such as window and door frames in masonry construction, providing robust structural integrity for both residential and commercial builds. For best results, it is recommended to prop lintels during installation to speed up the build process and ensure correct load transfer. Additionally, a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute weight.
