The Keystone XCFS/K-70 WIL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to support openings in robust masonry construction. Ideal for builders and site managers working with wide inner leaf blockwork, this 600mm lintel provides dependable structural support where cavity widths range from 70 to 85mm. Please note, the lintel is designed for inner leaf blocks 125-150mm wide, and correct installation practices should be followed to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, commonly found in residential and commercial building projects requiring strong load-bearing support over door and window openings. It is suitable for use with blockwork that does not exceed a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange. To maintain structural integrity and facilitate faster build times, it’s recommended that lintels are propped during installation. Additionally, laying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before placing floor units ensures even load distribution.
