Application

This lintel is specifically designed to span openings in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, commonly found in residential and commercial masonry projects. It provides robust support for lintelled openings such as windows and doors where an extra heavy duty load rating is required. To ensure speed and safety on site, props should be used during installation, and blockwork must be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly and maintain structural integrity.
