The Keystone XCFS/K-70 WIL 3000mm lintel is an extra heavy duty structural component designed specifically for cavity wall applications with wide inner leaf blockwork. It is an excellent choice for builders, contractors, and site managers requiring reliable support over openings where cavity widths range from 70 to 85mm. Please note, this lintel is supplied as a single unit and should be installed following best practice to ensure structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is engineered to support load-bearing openings in cavity walls featuring 125-150mm wide inner leaf blockwork. It is commonly used above doors, windows, and other apertures where extra heavy duty capacity is essential. To ensure correct load distribution, the inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm. Additionally, lintels should be propped during installation to maintain safety and speed up the build process. Mortar bedding on top of the blockwork before laying floor units is recommended for even load transfer.
