The Keystone XCFS/K-70 1650mm lintel is engineered for builders, contractors and site managers needing robust support for cavity wall openings with widths from 70 to 85mm. Its extra heavy duty rating makes it a dependable choice for demanding structural projects where reliable load-bearing is essential. Please note, all perpendicular and horizontal joints must be fully filled with mortar for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity walls within the specified cavity range, commonly used to span doorways, windows or other openings in brick or blockwork construction. It provides critical structural support, ensuring loads above openings are safely transferred to adjacent masonry. To achieve best results, a mortar bed should be applied on top of blockwork before laying floor units, and lintels should be propped during the build to speed up construction while maintaining stability.
