The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WOL 3300mm lintel is an extra heavy duty structural component designed specifically for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. Its robust design makes it suitable for builders, contractors, and site managers who require dependable support for substantial openings in blockwork up to 150mm thick. Please note that the outer leaf blockwork should not extend beyond 25mm over the lintel flange for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is engineered for cavity walls with outer leaf blockwork between 125mm and 150mm wide, supporting cavity widths from 50 to 65mm. It is ideal for heavy load-bearing applications on serious construction projects, including residential and commercial developments where structural integrity is critical. To ensure efficient construction progress, it’s recommended to prop lintels during installation. The blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s outer face, and a mortar bed should be placed on top before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
