The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel measuring 2700mm long, designed specifically for builders and contractors working with wide outer leaf blockwork. It provides robust structural support for openings where cavity widths range between 50 and 65mm, making it a reliable choice for demanding projects requiring durable load-bearing solutions. Please note that blockwork must be constructed tightly against the lintel flange, and the lintel should be propped during installation to ensure stability and speed up site work.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting wide openings in cavity walls with outer leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm wide. It is commonly used in structural masonry work where extra heavy duty load capacity is essential, such as in commercial developments, large residential builds, and extensions requiring strong lintel support. Proper installation includes placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units, to evenly distribute the load and maintain structural integrity.
