The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WOL 2100mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors working on wide outer leaf cavity walls. This lintel provides dependable support for openings where cavity widths range between 50 and 65mm, making it a reliable choice for structural integrity on serious building projects. Please note, the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure correct installation.

Application

This lintel is specifically engineered for use with 125-150mm wide outer leaf blockwork in cavity wall construction. It is ideal for supporting door and window openings where high load capacity is required. To facilitate faster construction and maintain stability, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation. Blockwork should be built tight against the outer face of the lintel to optimise load transfer, and a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units for even load distribution.
