The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WOL 1800mm lintel is an extra heavy duty solution designed for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. Ideal for builders and site managers requiring dependable support over openings where cavity widths range between 50 and 65mm, this lintel offers robust performance for demanding structural projects. Please note the outer leaf blockwork should not extend beyond 25mm over the lintel flange to ensure correct installation.

Application

This lintel is primarily used in cavity wall construction where the outer leaf block is between 125mm and 150mm wide. It supports openings such as doors and windows in heavy load-bearing walls, providing stability and strength. To maintain build quality and speed, it is advised to prop the lintel during installation. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute structural loads. The blockwork must be built tight against the lintel’s outer face for optimal performance.
