The Keystone XCFS/K-50 WOL 1500mm lintel is an extra heavy duty structural support designed for cavity walls with wide outer leaf blockwork. Built to withstand significant loads, this lintel is a dependable choice for builders, site managers, and contractors working on demanding projects requiring precise load-bearing solutions. Please note, the outer leaf block must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically engineered for cavity wall construction where the outer leaf measures between 125mm and 150mm wide and the cavity width ranges from 50mm to 65mm. It is ideal for supporting openings such as windows and doors in residential and commercial builds where extra heavy duty load-bearing is required. To maintain structural integrity and speed up site progress, it is recommended that the lintel is propped during installation. Additionally, placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps distribute loads evenly across the lintel.
