This lintel is a practical choice for serious building projects requiring robust load-bearing solutions.

Application

This lintel is specified for cavity walls with a wide outer leaf between 125 and 150mm thick. It supports window and door openings where high load capacity is essential. Installation requires the outer leaf blockwork to be built tightly against the lintel’s outer face, with no more than 25mm overhang on the flange to maintain structural integrity. Propping the lintel during construction is recommended to speed up work and ensure safety. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute the load evenly.
